Me gusta la música tanto de este siglo, como  de los siglos pasados, no tengo preferencia, pero para mi cada música es para un momento, a mi personalmente me gusta la música de otras épocas para escuchar yo solo en  mis momentos ya que actualmente nadie de mi entorno de amigos comparte el mismo gusto musical que yo. Os relataré brevemente la historia de cada uno de los grupos citados en mis anteriores entradas.

Creedence Clearwater Revival

Banda más conocida como CCR o Creedence fue una banda estadounidense de rock con gran aceptación mediática y muy popular a finales de los años sesenta y comienzos de los setenta.

El estilo musical de Creedence combinó el rock and roll con otros géneros tales como el blues, el gospel, el countryy el swamp rock. La denominación genértica Roots Rock, referida a la música inspirada en las raíces tradicionales de la música norteamericana, no existía en la época en que se formó CCR, pero hoy en día sería perfectamente aplicable a su estética.Por su estilo de música tan peculiar se les llama los reyes de la carretera.

Su influencia a menudo no es valorada, aunque es rastreable en varios géneros y corrientes que llegan hasta nuestros días. La música de Creedence dió una muestra de contundencia y simpleza que sirvió de semilla de lo que después seria llamado grunge.

A pesar de su corta trayectoria, cuarenta años después de la disolución del grupo, la música de Creedence Clearwater Revival se mantiene como base de la historia de la música estadounidense y es a menudo citada o incluida en radios y medios de comunicación como influencia de otros músicos.

Anna Mae Bullock (Nutbush, Tennessee, 26 de noviembre de 1939), conocida artísticamente como Tina Turneres una cantante, compositora, bailarina, actriz, escritora y coreógrafa suiza de origen estadounidense, cuya carrera se desarrolló durante más de cincuenta años, además de ser una de las principales y mayores componentes de rock siendo considerada como «La Reina del Rock».

Comenzó su carrera musical a mediados de los años 50 como cantante de funciones con Ike Turner en Kings of Rhythm, llegando a su primera grabación en 1958 bajo el nombre de Little Ann. Su introducción al mundo de la música como Tina Turner comenzó en 1960 como una de los dos integrantes de la banda musical Ike & Tina Turner.
